When The Muse Strikes

“The spark fires when it happens, I have no control over it, but what I do have is a pencil and paper always to hand. Inspiration can strike at any time, often when I am travelling, or sometimes at sunrise.

I quickly jot down the skeleton of the song and later at my leisure put the flesh on the bones.  I have a cupboard full of skeletons waiting to come out.”   Frazer Kennedy

Street of Dreams

This is your time – you’ve just got to feel it.

Go take your chance – or someone will steal it!

On the street of dreams,

Where the sun shines bright

You can have it all, it’s sweet as cherry ripe.

Street of dreams …

Where nothing’s what it seems

If you can talk the talk, even walk the walk

You can have your dreams.

You may find it hard and you may find it tough

If you want it bad, grab it with both hands

Don’t let it go…

This is your time – you’ve just got to feel it.

Go take your chance – or someone will steal it!

On the street of dreams,

Where nothing’s what it seems,

People stop and stare but turn the other way

When you are in need.

You may find it hard and you may find it tough

But if you want it bad, grab it with both hands

Don’t let it go …
