What are your aspirations, musically?
Of course I’d love to write a hit song and retire to beach somewhere, but in reality, I want to write just one song that will make you smile or cry.

What’s the thrill of singing your own songs rather than covers?
I’m happy to sing any song that I feel emotionally close to, whoever wrote it.
